Keynote Panel: Looking back and forward at rapid innovation in the digital package printing equipment business

The level of enthusiasm for package printing, both flexo, offset, and digital printing, seems to be at an all time high.  Reinvestment in hardware is the strongest we’ve seen in a decade.  Some of this may be due to marketing communication channel fragmentation, with packaging offering the last stance in convincing a consumer to buy – “the moment of truth”.  With us this evening to discuss some of these trends are three esteemed representatives of three of the leaders in digital package printing equipment manufacturing and three of their end user customers.

Panelists will include key customers from our Keynote Sponsors along with some advice from our keynote executives.

Keynote: Balancing the needs of the compressing packaging supply chain with digital printing

Brands are bringing to market more versions of their products than ever before, creating uncertainty about demand with ever faster product cycles. Compromises may have to be made on design and substrates in order to meet brand’s timelines and rapid response ordering. Digital printing can provide smaller quantities of printed packaging then ever before, accelerating the supply chain cycle. But what about the retailers? Are they prepared to handle increasing turns?
